Why did I become a Virtual Assistant
That’s a really good question actually.
Being aged in my 50’s, I have come to a stage where I no longer want to work for “a Boss”.
I am a Mum of 3 adult children and 2 amazing little grandsons. Currently residing in South Australia, my partner and I made a decision to purchase a block of land in Ravenswood, Western Australia, and build a new home.
After working with my current employer for just over 10 years, I decided it was time to devote myself to doing what I love the most. Helping others.
Looking at the vast range of skills that I have, I decided to become a Virtual Assistant, as I have many years of Office Administration and Social Media experience behind me.
My previous work history involves,
– 11 years Retail,
– 7 years in a Commonwealth Government Agency,
– 6 months in a Bank Collections Department,
– 10 years with a very large Telecommunications Business, working in many Sales, Billing, Complaints and Social Media roles.
In the process of setting the business up, I have developed a love for learning systems and Marketing.
I have recently completed a Diploma in Social Media Marketing and Management and also become a Certified InfusionSoft Specialist.
I also use LeadPages, ConvertKit, Active Campaign, HubSpot, and MailChimp to create Sales Funnels.
